2.1 FoundersDatabase provides a directory where users can discover and compare AI tools. We do not sell or provide the listed tools. Any purchase is made directly between you and the tool provider.

2.2 We aim to keep listed tool information accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that pricing, features, or availability are always correct. Always verify details with the provider before making a purchase decision.

3. Submitted Tools

3.1 When you submit a tool for listing, you grant us the right to publish and edit the submitted information on the website.

3.2 We may reject, edit, or remove a listing if it violates our guidelines or quality requirements. If a submitted tool is not approved during review, we issue a full refund. If a published listing is later removed due to misleading information, policy violations, or prohibited content, a refund may not be provided.

4. Affiliate Links

4.1 Some tools on this website are part of affiliate partnerships. This means we may earn a commission if you purchase through our link. This does not affect how we describe tools and does not add extra cost to you.

8.1 The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8.2 FoundersDatabase is not liable for damage or loss resulting from information on this site, service interruptions, or your use of tools discovered through this site.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

9.1 Disputes should first be resolved through mutual agreement. If that is not possible, disputes are resolved by Swedish courts under Swedish law.

What data we collect and why

Submitted tools
When you submit a tool via our form, we collect your email address and the information you provide about the tool. We use this only to process your submission.

Paid listings
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never store payment card details and currently do not store payment-related email addresses in our own systems. Any payment data is handled by Stripe under Stripe's terms and privacy policy.

Newsletter
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address to send updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email.

Website analytics
We use Simple Analytics, a cookie-free analytics tool that does not collect personal data and is GDPR-friendly by design. No data is sold or shared with third parties.

Legal basis

We process your data based on legitimate interests (website analytics), performance of a contract (paid submissions), and consent (newsletter).

How long we keep data

Newsletter email addresses are stored as long as you remain subscribed. FoundersDatabase currently does not store payment-related email addresses in its own systems. Data processed by Stripe is stored according to Stripe's retention policies and legal obligations.

Data sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties except service providers required to operate the service (such as Stripe, form tools, and newsletter services). We never sell personal data.
